Section 1: Stemnitsa → Dimitsana

Section 1 — Stemnitsa to Dimitsana

From Stemnitsa through Lousios Gorge via Prodromos & Philosophou Monasteries, following stone mule paths and bridges to the Open-Air Water Power Museum and Dimitsana.

Section 2: Dimitsana → Zygovisti

Section 2 — Dimitsana to Zygovisti

Steady climb above Dimitsana past St. Paraskevi and St. Apostoli across old fields to Zygovisti and the Immortals Memorial.

Section 3: Zygovisti → Elati

Section 3 — Zygovisti to Elati

Traverse the western Menalon massif via Bilali Pass and the Koskitsa plateau, skirting Mt. Pliovouni before descending to Elati.

Section 4: Elati → Vytina

Pleasant descent to the Milaon riverbank path past Pirgaki Springs, Makrinou Fountain, small bridges and watermills, then up to Vytina.

Section 5: Vytina → Nymphasia

From Vytina via Old Vytina to the Mavra Litharia gorge and Tzavarenas stone bridge, then gentle climb on flysch slopes to Nymphasia.

Section 6: Nymphasia → Magouliana

Cross Kernitsa Bridge and visit Kernitsa Monastery, then continue through dense fir forest via the Sfyrida hermitage and traverse below Kastro to Magouliana.

Section 7: Magouliana → Valtesiniko

Walk past the former Mana sanatorium and along stream valleys to the Kaminia basin, then climb the old path to the woodcarvers’ village of Valtesiniko.

Section 8: Valtesiniko → Lagkadia

Section 8 — Valtesiniko to Lagkadia

From Valtesiniko’s square and Byzantine fortress along ridges and fir forest to Lagkadia, passing meadows, springs and the Rapi watermills.
